SCHEDULE

At GCA, we value family time, hands-on learning, and a rigorous academic curriculum. Our weekly schedule and year-long academic calendar reflect these values. The GCA teaching staff will be efficient in the classroom to implement a rigorous academic curriculum while protecting the family life from being intruded by over-ambitious homework requirements. Our year-long academic calendar keeps the school year window between Labor Day and Memorial Day, while providing ample school breaks to increase opportunities for families to spend time together. Our weekly schedule sets aside Fridays for our one-of-a-kind “Farmer Fridays”, which teach homesteading skills in a hands-on learning environment.
